989,700. Gas cooking stove hot plates. PARKINSON COWAN Ltd. April 10, 1964 [April 16, 1963], No. 14767/63. Heading F4W. A gas cooking stove hot plate grid comprises a length of rod bent to a sinuous form having two outer runs 10 and intermediate runs 11, all runs being co-planar and adjacent runs being interconnected by end pieces 12 so that each run is joined to each adjacent run at one end only. The end pieces 12 are bent through 90 degrees to the plane of the grid, and are offset below this plane to form supports for the grid. The free ends of the runs 10 are likewise bent to form pegs 13, locating holes in the hob and carrying support collars 14.
