Abstract

A composition comprises a blend consisting of at least 80% of polyethylene of molecular weight greater than 30,000, and from 1 to 5% of a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate, e.g. the product derived from carbonic acid and 2,2 - di - p - hydroxyphenyl propane. Optional ingredients specified include carbon black and 4,41 - thiobis - (3 - Me - 6 - t - Bu - phenol). Specification 772,627 is referred to.
