Abstract
982,463. Electromagnetic relays. HIRST ELECTRONIC Ltd. April 30, 1963 [June 21, 1962], No. 23976/62. Heading H2B. An electromagnetic relay of adjustable sensitivity comprises a sealed magnetic contact unit 16 rotatably mounted adjacent the ends of a U-shaped laminated core 12, between the limbs of which extends an electrical conductor. The U-shaped core 12 is embedded in a synthetic resin block 11 and the sealed magnetic contact unit 16 in a rotatable synthetic resin disc 15. The disc carries an index mark 22 moving over a scale 23 on the block and may be retained in any angular position by a screw 21. The conductor may be wound around the base of the core to form a coil of several turns. The contacts of the sealed unit are gold plated.
