980,553. Suspended ceilings; clips. G. N. HADEN & SONS Ltd. June 7, 1962 [March 10, 1961], No. 8946/61. Headings E1V, E2A and E2B. The upstanding edge flanges 12 of an adjacent pair of ceiling panels are gripped between the limbs of an inverted U-shaped clip 16 which is formed with a pressed out finger 15 which hooks over the upper edge of flat strip-shaped bearers 10. A projection 18 on the clip prevents its upward displacement relative to the bearer 10, and projections 17 on the clip extend into openings 19 in the panel flanges 12 to prevent downward displacement of the panels.
