[Also in Divisions B3 and G4] An electrically operated piston valve, Fig. 17, for use in a forging press control system, is centred by a spring 17f and is actuated by a coil 17c between the poles 17a, 17j of a magnet so that in dependence upon the direction of the current through the coil the piston is moved either up-closing ports 17v and 17t-or downclosing ports 17s and 17v.
