974,795. Forced flow steam boilers. MONT INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION Ltd., and H. VORKAUF. Oct. 30, 1963 [April 6, 1963], No. 42801/63. Heading F4A. In a forced recirculation steam generator having evaporating surfaces 2 connected to distributer and collector headers 1, 3 respectively and which are provided with water drawn from a steam and water drum 4 by a recirculation pump 5, a cyclone separator 9 is mounted at the outlet of a steaming economizer 7 through which feed water from feed pump 8 passes. Water still under pressure passes from the cyclone separator to the distributer header 1 through pipe 10 containing a non- return valve 12, thus by-passing the drum 4 and pump 5. Steam from the separator 9 passes to the drum 4 through pipe 11 containing a sliding valve 13 operated by an electric device 14 regulated by temperature-sensitive units A, B to prevent feed water passing directly into drum 4.
