A thermally actuated valve comprises a valve stem formed by two, preferably identical, parts 8, 17 having plates 22, 23 which abut each other under the action of a spring 6 and liquid-vapour in a chamber 12 acting on a bellows 10. The stem parts are guided and sealed in bores 18, 19 and the valve house member 3 is mounted on one of the parts.
