Abstract

968,452. Valves. DOLE VALVE CO. July 1, 1963, No. 26062/63. Heading F2V. [Also in Division B8] A solenoid-actuated valve 10 for a device 13 for dispensing measured quantities of liquid (see Division B8) comprises a double-beat closure member 17 having resilient members 49, 50 for controlling inlet and outlet ports 18, 19 respectively, the resilient members being secured to a spindle fixed at its end 45 in the armature 20 of a solenoid 11. The spindle is sealed by means of a 'flexible diaphragm 43 and normally urged by a spring 21 to a position wherein the closure member 50 obturates the outlet port 19.
