967,693. Clothes airers. BRADLEY & CO. Ltd. July 1, 1963 [July 6, 1962], No. 25936/62. Heading A4U. A clothes airer comprises spaced parallel lazy tongs each formed by crossed pivoted members a which are mutually pivoted at a<SP>2</SP>, the lazy tongs being connected by clothessupporting rods a<SP>1</SP> and pivoted a<SP>3</SP>, a<SP>4</SP> to the telescopic parts b b<SP>1</SP> of four ground-contacting legs. In the opened out position the closed tops of the parts b form limiting stops and, the pivot point a<SP>2</SP> being offcentre of the associated members a, the legs incline inwardly and upwardly to stabilize the airer and the superposed rods a<SP>1</SP> are in different vertical planes.
