[Also in Division B1] Vibrating table 8 is mounted on annular resilient packing 7, e.g. of foam rubber, and carries an iron armature 9 which is periodically attracted to cores 10 of an A.C. electromagnet 4. The vibration is made more sinusoidal by the throttling action of air vent 2. Permanent magnet 11 may be incorporated in table 8 for holding ferro-magnetic containers.
