Abstract

966,032. Fasteners. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. Aug. 16, 1962 [Sept. 18, 1961], No. 33372/61. Heading E2B. An assembly for supporting a starting mechanism 24 for a fluorescent light tube includes a holder 23 having keyholes 30 and contacts 31, the said holder being supported by spring clips 10 having an internally pronged U-shaped base and two limbs, one 13 of which establishes electrical connection with the starting mechanism 24, and the other 14 having a U-shaped end with an outwardly turned lip to securely engage holes 28 in the holder 23. A second embodiment, Figs. 7 and 8 (not shown), describes similar clips for supporting the holder on the base 26.
