[Also in Divisions H1 and H3] In a temperature controlled crystal oven, the associated oscillator circuit is also mounted in the oven to minimize temperature effects. The crystal and oscillator circuit is enclosed in a vacuum flask in which is mounted a heater fed through a transistor controlled either in an on-off fashion by a contact thermometer or progressively by a thermistor connected in a D.C. or A.C. bridge circuit.
