Abstract

1,010,818. Automatic temperature control. P. G. SULZER. May 10, 1962 [Feb. 14, 1962], No. 18059/62. Heading G3R. [Also in Division H1] An automatic temperature-control circuit for a crystal oven comprises a three-stage transistor amplifier having regenerative feedback derived from a bridge circuit 17, 26, 27, 28 and applied by lead 31 to the base of the first transistor 19. The circuit does not oscillate until a change in temperature of the oven is detected by thermistor 17, whereupon the bridge becomes unbalanced and feedback voltage is generated. The rectified output of the circuit is proportional to the change in temperature and is applied through lead 35 to the heater winding of the crystal oven.
