962,604. Brushes. R. E. COX. May 24, 1963 [June 14, 1962], No. 22861/62. Heading A4K. In a power-driven rotary brush, rows of bristles 15 are mounted on the outer edges of flexible rubber or plastic strips 11 secured to shaft 10 by collar 12. Nylon bristles may be secured in holes in the strips or be fastened by staples 16. The strips 11 may be supported laterally by inflated rubber tubes placed between them and they may have curved outer edges. The use of strips of cloth instead of bristles is referred to.
