959,893. Dust covers. CAM GEARS Ltd. June 16, 1961 [June 22, 1960], No. 36417/63. Divided out of 959,892. Heading B7H. In a rack-and-pinion steering gear as disclosed in Specification 959,892, there is provided a dust excluding casing having corrugated cylindrical portions 22 and 26 and a plain cylindrical portion 27 having flanged apertures 28 reinforced by wire bands 30, through which pass the bolts 14 and 15 connecting the rack 5 to the steering links. The corrugated portion 25 is connected by rings 24 to the pinion housing 3 and to a plug 21 closing one end of the tubular housing 4 enclosing the rack.
