[Also in Division B7] A metal section or panel comprising complementary opposite edges so that two panels can be engaged edge to edge, has ribs 8, 12, Fig. 1, at these edges, the rib 8 having an outwardly extending lip 6 and a flange 9 each having the inner surface curved about the same centre so that a channel 11 and a curved flange 13 on the rib 12 on the edge of a second panel can be engaged with the lip 6 and the flange 9 respectively, with the panels relatively tilted and then swung into fully engaged position with the panels in line. In a modification the parts 6, 9 are longer and thus flexible and the rib 12 can be sprung between them and a gap is left between the ribs 8, 12. For the same purpose either the rib 8 or 12 may be bent to form a longitudinal channel to make them flexible. In Fig. 2 the curved surfaces are reversed in position i.e. the surface 15 of larger radius is adjacent the panel face and the surface 16 of smaller radius is at the outer edge of the ribs 8, 12. In a further modification, Fig. 4, the curved surfaces 23, 25 are on the outer wall of a box rib 22 on one edge of the panel and a groove 15<SP>x</SP> at the inner end of the inner wall of the rib engages an extension 14<SP>x</SP> of the flange 14<SP>11</SP> on the edge of the adjacent panel.
