955,767. Gas burners. A.S.W. APPARATENFABRIEK N.V. May 30, 1962 [July 19, 1961], No. 20868/62. Heading F4T. A gas burner comprises burner tubes 6 provided with ports 7 and mounted on a distributing tube 5 connected at its ends to injection tubes 4 supplied with gas through detachably connected nozzles 3, the ports 7 being arranged in groups in two parallel rows with the groups in one row alternating with the groups in the other row. Preferably each group of ports comprises two ports. Each burner port of a group in one row is approximately equi-distant from the nearest burner port in the same row and from the nearest burner port in the other row. The passages 8 connecting the outermost burner tubes to the distributing tube 5 are smaller than the passages connecting the other tubes. Gas is supplied to the nozzles 3 through a pipe 1 and two branch pipes 2. The injection tubes 4 are of smaller diameter than the distributing tube 5.
