Vehicle-supporting arms 3 are mounted on a ring 2, formed on a fluid-pressure ram piston 1, for movement in a horizontal plane. The arms are provided with curved flanges 4, 5, which embrace the walls of the ring, and ball-bearings (not shown), between the engaging surfaces of the ring and arm.
