951,832. Capacitors; circuit assemblies; filters. H. KOLBE, and H. KOHLER, [trading as FUBA, AUTENNENWERKE, H. KOLBE & CO.]. Dec. 5, 1961 [Dec. 5, 1960], No. 43530/61. Headings H1M, H1R and H1W. In a high-frequency four-pole network, e.g. a filter or a circuit balancing element; separate capacitors are formed from individual printed electrodes positioned on opposite sides of a common unitary dielectric carrier member and inductances are formed as individual printed conductors thereon interconnecting selecting capacitor electrodes; certain of the latter carried on the same side of the dielectric member being also interconnected. In Fig. 2, four capacitors of a high pass 4-pole H.F. filter are formed from pairs of opposed electrode plates 7, 8; 9, 10; 11, 12; 13, 14 printed on both sides of a common dielectric 6; and plates 8, 10; 12, 14 are interconnected as two single plates joined by a web 15 forming the inductance member of the filter (Fig. 1, not shown) whose input and output connections are taken to plates 7, 11; 9, 13. Alternatively in a capacitor for a low-pass filter (Fig. 3, not shown) a common electrode is applied to a dielectric layer with plural separate electrodes applied to the other side for a low-pass filter and in a capacitor for a high-pass filter (Fig. 4, not shown) plural separate electrodes are applied in staggered formation to opposite sides of the dielectric; each plate covering the gap between two opposite plates and forming part of two separate serially connected capacitors.
