Abstract

951,772. Suction cleaner nozzles. ELECTROLUX Ltd. May 5, 1960 [May 23, 1959], No. 15897/60. Heading A4F. A suction cleaner nozzle having two opposed working faces, e.g. one provided with a brush 15 and the other with a smooth portion 10 for engaging a rug, is swivelly connected by a sleeve 34 to a suction tube 32, so that when it is desired to change from one working face to the other the nozzle is swivelled through 180 degrees. The tube 32 is then depressed about a pivot 39 so that it connects with a different one of the two nozzle passages 9, 13 separated by a plate 18. A spring pressed detent (not shown) holds the tube 32 in the desired position relative to the nozzle.
