A sashless window as described and claimed in Specification 888,170 is mounted in a door leaf or like panel. A fixed gauze screen panel 36 is fixed to the auxiliary channel-shaped plastic or aluminium &c. frame of which the sill 7 is shown, and completely overlies the upper and lower panel sections. The panel 36 has an edge head 37 on each side for mounting in a groove 38 on the frame 3. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 888,170.
