Abstract

1350827 Window and door frames; glazing MERGAN & CO 4 June 1971 19073/71 Headings E1J and E1R A window or door frame comprises a timber strip 10 carrying a U-shaped rail 30, a cover 27 secured to the rail by leg portions 14, 15 engaging the rail and having a front plate with prolongations 13, 18 which extend beyond the legs and are of unequal breadth. Cover 27 is a snap fit on rail 30. Prolongation 18 supports a pane 26 or may act as a stop (Fig. 3, not shown). The cover may be of aluminium or plastics.
