942,148. Coating with preformed sheets. STOREY BROS. & CO. Ltd. Oct. 17, 1961 [Oct. 17, 1960], No. 35534/60. Drawings to Specification. Heading B6G. A covering is applied to an article by taking a sheath of the covering material which will fit tightly round the article and introducing the article into the sheath whilst the sheath is distended by internal fluid pressure e.g. by compressed.air. If desired the article may be coated with a heat activatable adhesive or a heatactivatable adhesive may be applied to the inner surface of the sheath before the article is covered, and the covered article may then be heated to activate the adhesive.
