[Also in Divisions A4 and D1] In a stand for a treadle operated sewing- machine, relatively slidable members are locked together by bolts engaging screw-threaded pushouts formed integrally with the slidable members. A treadle rod 55 is locked against the flanges of channel section members 53, 53<SP>1</SP> by means of bolts 57, 57<SP>1</SP> screwed into push-outs in U-shaped brackets 63, 63<SP>1</SP>. Bolts 28, 29, 28<SP>1</SP> and 29<SP>1</SP> pass through slots in channel section members 36, 37, 36<SP>1</SP> and 37<SP>1</SP> and enter screwthreaded push-outs in the nesting channel sections 26, 27, 261 and 27<SP>1</SP>, respectively.
