Abstract

940,099. Feeding webs. SAMUEL M. LANGSTON CO. Jan. 23, 1962 [Jan. 27, 1961], No. 2392/62. Heading B6B. A web roll 32 is supported at each end between arms such as 26 keyed to a tube 10 by keys 56 engaging keyways in the tube 10 and in keying seats 50 rotatably mounted in guideways 46. The guideways 46 are integral with webs 44 within hubs such as 40. Hydraulic cylinders 18 actuate bell-crank levers 16 on the tube 10 to raise and lower the arms such as 26. The hubs such as 40 can be moved axially of the tube 10 by hydraulic cylinders 68, 70.
