Abstract
939,833. Roll holders. J. LEMARDELEY. Dec. 22, 1961 [Dec. 27, 1960; Dec. 18, 1961], No. 46029/61. Class 18. An apparatus for delivering assemblies of sheets, each assembly consisting of a sheet of carbon paper and a sheet of copy paper has rollers 8, mounted within a casing 2, each carrying a sheet of copy paper 37 and a sheet of carbon paper 36, a cutting table formed of elements 9, 10 leaving between them a slot 11 and a cutting device with a blade 23. A flanged sliding plate 12 slides in the casing beneath bottom plate 5 and has a handle 13 and notches 14 co-operating with a catch 15 the notches being so placed as to leave between slot 11 and edge 12a of plate 12 a length of paper and carbon paper equal to a standard size used. Labels 20 on plate 12 indicate particular lengths. The assembly is cut by a device comprising a knob 22 having a cutting blade 23 fixed in a base 24 slidable in a guide 25 along a transverse rod 26 against a return spring 27. A paper presser 28 pivoted at 29 and operated by handle 30 presses the assembly against the table when the cut is made. It is stated the cutter may be replaced by a guillotine type.
