937,968. Inflatable craft. ETABLISSEMENTS HUTCHINSON, COMPAGNIE NATIONALE DU CAOUTCHOUC. April 3, 1962 [June 1, 1961], No. 12808/62. Class 113. A pneumatic boat has a composite hull comprising a rigid stern panel 1b and a rigid (and narrower) bow panel 1a connected in a watertight manner by the ends of a flexible assembly 2 including inflatable tubes or piping 3, said assembly being capable of being laid flat and produced in that condition. The tubes extend and are sealed to the bottom 4 which supports a floor 13 comprising panels 14, 15, 16. The bottom 4 has at its centre an inflatable longitudinally extending tube 32 (formed by a strip 33) acting as a centre fin and imparting a V-shaped cross-section to the bottom. The upper longitudinal extending edges of the inflatable tubes forming the lateral walls of the boat are provided with a piping 38 constituting a ledge or coaming, and to this are fixed rowlock supports 40. A seat 21 bears at its ends against the tube 3, and its leg 30 urges the central floor panel 15 against the bottom 4. Props 18 are provided between the bow and stern panels 1a 1b and the two end floor panels 14, 16.
