Abstract

935,795. Electrostatic precipitators. METALLGESELLSCHAFT A.G. Jan. 22, 1962 [April 13, 1961], No. 2297/62. Class 117. [Also in Group XXVIII] . A flow lattice in a duct, e.g. for a vertical electrostatic precipitator, extends diagonally across a bend of the duct and comprises equidistantly offset vertical plates c for the deflection of gases and vapours into a duct of wider section, the edges of the individual plates being provided with baffles d, e angularly offset alternately towards opposite sides thereof. The angle α is about 150 degrees. German Specification 942,626 is referred to.
