934,318. Latches. S. U. E. FLODELL. Feb. 27, 1962 [Jan. 30, 1962], No. 7527/62. Class 44. A fastener for windows and the like comprises a latch bolt 13 mounted in a housing 8 in the frame of the window and a keeper assembly 10 for attachment to the window, the keeper assembly including a rail 21 and a slide 18 having a ramp 24 leading to an abutment face 23 so that the bolt 14 may engage behind the abutment, the slide gliding in a groove for movement relative to the rail. The longitudinal position of the keeper may be adjusted by means of a screw 28. Various shapes of groove may be employed.
