933,139. Hook fastenings. THOMAS WALKER Ltd. Feb. 13, 1961 [Feb. 13, 1960], No. 180/63. Divided out of 922,948. Class 43. A hook fastener for incorporating in a waistband assembly consists of a generally S-shaped member having an elongated intermediate limb 3b joined at one end by a bend portion to an outer limb forming a hook tongue 5b and joined at its other end to an inner limb forming a base 4b which extends towards the transverse bar 17 of the intermediate limb in a straight transverse free edge portion 6b closely adjacent the bar 17, the base comprising a substantially rectangular frame of open contour with which in substantially parallel overlying relationship are disposed the intermediate limb and hook tongue. The base 4c may comprise a wire frame and the intermediate limb 3c then comprises a sheet-metal blank joined by clenched over lugs to the base.
