Abstract

Compositions for oral and parenteral administration e.g. as tablets, pills, granules, drinkable and injectable solutions and useful for treating hepatic malfunctions comprise L-arginine and from 1 to 5 times its weight of DL-malic acid or a salt thereof or L-arginine monohydrochloride and from 2 to 4 times its weight of the malic acid or salt thereof.
