929,675. Projection systems. DECCA Ltd. Feb. 28, 1962 [Dec. 15, 1960], No. 43252/60. Class 97 (1). Information written on the upper surface of a transparent plate 11 edge-illuminated by lamp 12 is projected on to a screen 10 by an optical system including a lens 14 and orthogonal mirrors 15. Instead of the two mirrors 15, a single mirror and an erecting prism may be used. Additional data may be superimposed on screen 10 by including a semi-reflector, preferably in the optical path between plate 11 and lens 14. The plate 11 and screen 10 may be disposed in parallel planes.
