924,097. Anglers' landing-nets. DALTON & SMITH Ltd. Sept. 28, 1961 [Sept. 28, 1960], No. 33230/60. Class 48. A collapsible landing-net comprises two arms 1 pivoted to a crosshead 8, a stem 10 passing through a hole 9 in the crosshead and a pair of toggle links 13 pivoted to the crosshead 8 and to the arms 1. In order to open the arms 1 a handle 19 is screwed on to the threaded end of the stem 10 and into abutment with the crosshead 8 and further screwing causes the toggle links 13 to pivot the arms 1 about the crosshead. A chain 4 joins the two outer ends of the arms 1 and the movement of the stem 10 through the crosshead 8 is limited by a head 11 of the stem abutting the crosshead. When the arms 1 are collapsed, the stem 10 is within the hole 9 in the crosshead 8.
