Abstract

921,800. Treating floors and floor coverings. ELECTROLUX Ltd. June 27, 1961 [Aug. 27, 1960], No. 23156/61. Class 138 (1). A surface treating machine has a number of rotatable brushes 11, 12, 14 against the outer peripheries of which liquid treating agent is thrown by centrifugal force from a disc 51. The liquid is fed by gravity from a container (not shown) via pipe 48 to the disc 51. The latter is mounted on a motor drive shaft 22 and the liquid is directed between the top and bottom ends of the brushes.
