Abstract

919,091. Agricultural implements. CHAMBERS, R. J. Nov. 11, 1960 [Aug. 13, 1959], No. 27706/59. Class 6(1). An agricultural harrow comprises a frame which is divided longitudinally into two implement carrying sections 18 which are hinged together so that the sections can conform with the contour of the ground, the sections being bridged by one or more pressure applying bars 4 for limiting the upward swinging movement of the sections, the bars being interconnected by a tie rod 7 which is connected to a linkage 8 which is acted upon by the third link of the tractor lifting mechanism. The end of each bar is guided between a pair of guide bars 6 and a removable stop 14 is provided to limit the downward movement of the sections.
