A window mounting comprises a plastic window panel 10 glued or welded to a plastic glazing strip 11 which is inserted in the channel 6 of a mounting strip 1 which may be secured to a frame 4 or mounted on a window sash 5 to make a double window. A rib 12 on the strip 11 additionally secures the panel 10 and a projection 9 or 9a holds the strip 11 in place in conjunction with the slightly undercut edge 7.
