Abstract
915,609. Photographic enlargers. AGFA A.G. April 11, 1961 [April 14, 1960], No. 13060/61. Class 98 (1). [Also in Group XL (b)] A photographic enlarger has a photo-electric exposure regulation device comprising a measuring unit detachably mounted behind the printing paper. In a stand-type enlarger, an image of a negative is projected on to a transparent easel. Below the easel is mounted a carrier 25, Fig. 2, which is adjusted along guide-bars 21, 23 by a handle 42a, and which has attached thereto by a bayonet fitting, a measuring unit M. Unit M comprises a transparent tubular member 27, Fig. 3, having roughened faces 27a, in which is mounted a photo-cell 28, connected to the exposure regulating device S, which controls the intensity and duration of exposure. A switch 38 is provided, in one position of which a regulated exposure takes place and in a second position, an inspection lamp is lit together with lamps 29 which produce a circle of light on the printing easel, corresponding to surface 27b, which indicates the limits of the measuring area. In a table-type enlarger, the handle 42a may project through an aperture in the side of the table. Specification 898,678 is referred to.
