915,277. Watches. MORF, E. Dec. 22, 1959 [June 19, 1959], No. 43458/59. Class 139. In a watch case of generally square shape the glass is made of two parts 9, 11, shaped as shown in Fig. 5, the part 11 being glued to the part 9 outside the flange 14. The depending circular flange 12 of the part 19 is held by a strengthening ring 13 against the inside cylindrical surface 7, Fig. 2, of the caseband 1. A separate or deposited metal layer 16 having hour markings thereon overlies the face 15 of the glass part 9 and the strengthening ring 13. The square-shaped bezel 3 engages a flange 8 of the caseband.
