[Also in Group XXVII] In a revolving-cylinder engine at least one sealing-ring 19, 20, Fig. 2, is supported in the cylinder or cylinder head 12, so that the working surface is exposed in different sections to different frictional loads to rotate the ring. Each piston 6 ... 9, Fig. 1, has a gudgeon-pin 21 ... 24 carrying interconnecting links 31 ... 35 which engage cam discs 29, 30 the outer links on each gudgeon being connected to one adjacent piston whilst the inner link is connected to the other adjacent piston.
