Abstract

912,119. Rotary exhausters. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO. Ltd. May 8, 1961 [May 18, 1960], No. 17555/60. Class 110 (2). A rotary exhauster of the eccentric rotor, sliding vane type comprises a rotor 9 integral with a hub portion 10 which is rotatably supported within tne bearing housing 6 by means of a sleeve 11, and a body 1 defining the working chamber and integral with the bearing housing. Lubricant is introduced under pressure at 19, and flows, through passages 21, 22, 23 to the end face of the rotor, closed by the end-plate 15, and the slots 18 in which the vanes slide. Passage 24 discharges lubricant from bearing 25 to the exhaust port 4. A non-return valve 28 is provided in inlet 3.
