[Also in Group XXVI] The grain-cleaning mechanism of a threshing machine includes a blower comprising vanes 5 which are adjustable to vary the strength of the air blast directed into the cleaning shoe, according to the type of grain being treated. The blower comprises sets of spokes 3 rigidly mounted on a rotatable shaft 2, and provided with either slots 11 or holes in which the vanes 5 are adjustably secured by means of screws 12 and wing nuts.
