Abstract

910,717. Machine-tool details. NORWOOD (PRECISION PRODUCTS) Ltd. March 28, 1961 [Feb. 5, 1960], No. 4261/60. Class 83 (3). A work-clamp incorporates a flanged fastening member which can be fastened in the T-slot of a work-table and a separately operable clamping member for securing a workpiece to the table. The flange 3 of the fastening member 1 is adapted to fit into the T-slot of a machine table and a locking collar 4 is tightened to secure the member 1 to the table. The clamping arm 8 engages the work at its end 10 and is tightened by a bolt 5 which screws into the threaded bore 2 of the fastening member. A heel-screw 11 is screwed into the end of the clamping arm opposite that engaging the work. In a modification a body member carrying the heel-screw fits over the fastening member 1.
