In an interpolating device comprising two voltage dividers, the first of which is a tapped auto-transformer 1 and the second of which interpolates the voltage between the taps as claimed in Claims 1, 2, 7 or 9 of the parent Specification, the second divider comprises a tapped resistor 4 which is connected across the secondary turns of a transformer 5 of which the primary is energized by the reference voltage. The resistor may comprise a ribbon, band, or slide-wire.
