908,721. Chains. DICKSON & MANN Ltd. Jan. 12, 1961 [Oct. 13, 1959], No. 34612/59. Class 24. [Also in Group XXX] A conveyer chain from which loads are to be suspended is flexible in both horizontal and vertical planes and comprises U-shaped links 2, 3 interconnected by horizontal pins 14 and axles 16. The closed ends of the links adjacent each pin 14 are respectively bifurcated and reduced so that they interfit, and rollers 17 are disposed on the axles 16 between the overlapping open ends of the links. Some of the axles 16 are elongated to extend below the chain where they carry castor mountings 12 for track-engaging wheels 6. Loads are suspended on bars 11 mounted on the axles 5 of the wheels 6.
