906,209. Feeding sheets. STABILIMENTO ARTI GRAFICHE LUIGI SALOMONE S.p.A. June 28, 1960 [June 30, 1959], No. 22573/60. Class 100 (1). Sheets are conveyed over a table 1 to a printing-machine by pairs of endless conveyer belts 2 which move over the surface of the table, and the sheets are held on the belts by suction which is established at sets of holes 9 in the table between the belts of each pair. Air ducts 6, parallel to one another and disposed transversely of the belts 2, communicate with the holes 9, and are connected through a pipe 7 and valve 8 with a source of suction. The last set of holes 9 is so arranged that the leading sheet is released and is free for alignment purposes before being seized by grippers for conveyance to the printing-machine.
