Abstract

906,189. Folding prams. LINES BROS. Ltd. May 4, 1961 [Dec. 8, 1960], No. 16221/61. Addition to 877,647. Class 108(1). A folding perambulator has a removable and reversible body 1 provided with pegs 3 at either side which may be fitted into slots in plates 19 fixed to chassis members 5, and the body is held in position on the chassis in both the erected and collapsed condition of the pram, Figs. 2 and 6, by one of a pair of hooks on each slidable plate 21 which may be moved to engage its respective peg 3 by linkage 12, 13, 23 connected to the handle 11. The body may be lifted off the chassis, Fig. 5, when the pegs 3 are between and not engaged by one of the hooks on either of the plates 21. Locking rings 18 are provided.
