Abstract

877,647. Folding prams and barrows. LINES BROS. Ltd. (Lines Bros. (Canada) Ltd.) Dec. 4, 1959 [Jan. 26, 1959], No. 2767/59. Class 108(1). A perambulator or barrow has a removable and reversible body provided with cheese headed pegs at either side which may be fitted into slots 13 in plates 12 on side chassis members 7 Figs. 9 and 11, and the body is held in position on the chassis by pivoting a handle linkage 16, 18, 20 to an extended wheeling position so that slots 26 in plates 24 fixed to links 18 co-operate with the shanks 4 of the pegs to prevent the pegs from rising out of the slots 13. In Fig. 7 the plates 24<SP>1</SP> are extended into hooks 28 which hook over the pegs when the handle is also in the folded position.
