[Also in Group XXXV] A polyphase current transformer assembly for polyphase switchgear comprises single-phase transformers 2a ... 2c embedded in overlapping relationship in a single moulding 1 which has integral screens 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b to isolate the high voltage terminals 6a ... 6c and the co-operating cable terminals 11a ... 11c from each other and from earth. The transformer is associated with an earthing switch having contact arms 14 co-operating with the terminals 11a ... 11c and mounted on a spindle 15 which is pivoted in the outer screens 7a, 7b. The moulding 1 may be of an epoxy resin.
