821,347. Rectifying; protective arrangements. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Nov. 12, 1957 [Nov. 13, 1956], No. 34706/56. Classes 38 (2) and 38 (4). Each rectifier 1 in a three-phase rectifying circuit comprises eight rectifying elements 6, each of which is in series with a fuse 7 and one pole of a multipole switch 8. The other pole of the switch 8<SP>1</SP> is in a control circuit such that a main circuit-breaker 5 cannot be closed unless all the switches 8 are also closed.
