Abstract

902,743. Drawing boards. MASON & SONS Ltd., E. N. Aug. 25, 1958 [Aug. 23, 1957], No. 27203/58. Divided out of 902,742. Class 11. A drawing board comprises opposed sheet metal components 3 and 4 assembled to form a hollow structure providing at least one continuous plane surface to support the drawing paper or other material. The components 3 and 4 are flanged at 5 and 6 and joined together to form a hollow structure. The member 4 is provided with ribs 8 and the member 3 with channelshaped reinforcing members 7. At the points of intersection of the members 7 and the ribs 8, pads 9 are provided and the two components are joined together with bolts 10 having spring- locking clips 11. The surfaces 12, 13 of the board may be as described in Specification 902,742.
